Things to do in Toronto

Toronto is a city full of many different districts, and your vacation will depend largely upon what districts you plan on visiting as the many things to do in Toronto vary between district to district. The financial district is an interesting area to tour just to get a sense of all the big business happening in the city; there are no real tourist attractions here, and it will likely be boring for a large number of people, however if high finance is your thing then definitely plan a visit to the Toronto financial district. Chinatown is another popular district in Toronto which is one of North America's largest Chinese neighborhoods. Weekends are especially crowded so tourists may want to avoid the weekend hustle and bustle unless they like that sort of thing. A neighborhood known as the Annex is popular among students and teachers at local universities. There are a large number of restaurants and stores there are, so it is generally a good place to spend an entire day.

Toronto shopping

Toronto has a nearly limitless number of stores just waiting to be explored, truly Toronto shopping can be an overwhelming experience although this city is not at the same shopping level as other cities like Tokyo or Paris. Some unique Toronto shopping attractions include the underground mall which is a a shopping mall located entirely underground that was originally created to allow workers to get from Union Station to their business offices without having to go outside. Pacific mall is North America's largest Chinese indoor mall, this one is definitely worth a visit even if you are not interested in buying anything. The fashion District is located along Queen Street and should definitely be visited if you have any interest in high fashion.

Car parking - car hire in Toronto

Car parking is available in Toronto, although it tends to be very pricey and very limited. Similarly to car hire in Toronto you will end up paying a premium because people are not encouraged to drive in the city. Instead tourists and locals are encouraged to use Toronto's excellent public transportation system to get around. A combination of buses and trams will get you where ever you need to go in Toronto with limited hassle and at a reasonable cost. If you need to visit somewhere within the city that is not on a bus line or near a station there are plenty of taxis that will get you where you need to go. Unlike in other cities the taxis in Toronto are controlled by a central office so you do not need to worry about negotiating rates with cab drivers.
We have a great booking section if you want to rent a car in Toronto. You can also get more specific information about all the transportations in Toronto. Please visit our section about the Toronto transportations in that case.
Toronto hotel - Toronto restaurant

Toronto is a fully modern city offering all the hotel amenities and restaurants any visitor could ever want. Finding a Toronto hotel depends of course on your budget in which our travel plans include. Generally visitors will want to find a Toronto hotel located central to where they plan on visiting therefore research hotels in what ever popular district you plan on spending the most time in. Toronto offers several youth hostels that can cost anywhere from $20-$40 for a bad motels that range the gamut from $60-$80, and luxury hotels that can cost anything imaginable. Toronto restaurants feature a lot of international cuisine, and are also largely dictated by what district they happen to reside in; for instance while traveling to Chinatown visitors will find a huge number of authentic Chinese restaurants that offer great food at a reasonable price. Although not technically a restaurant, visitors who are interested in cuisine will want to check out one of the many different farmers markets in Toronto and eat the food from the stalls located in the market.
